The newest extension of the current I-540 will be a North Carolina Toll Road called NC-540 – it will be Cary’s first toll road.  Construction is underway to extend the existing I-540 which currently ends in west Cary at the highway 55 interchange.  The new section will extend further into and beyond west Cary.  David [...]
